Falk USA Policies
How do you calculate your pan sizes?
All of our pans are measured from the inside of the top of the pan's lip.
Are Falk Culinair products sold in retail stores in my area?
We are the exclusive distributor of Falk Culinair copper cookware in the United States. At this time, Falk Culinair products are only sold online.
Do you accept returns?
Yes. Please see our Return Policy. All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which can be requested through your Account.
Does your cookware come with a warranty?
Yes. All Falk copper cookware comes with a Manfacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects. Our warranty does not cover pitting of the stainless steel due to salt exposure. Any stainless steel will pit due to excess exposure to salt and simple precautions on the user's part should prevent pitting in all cases (See Care and Maintenance below). Our stainless steel is no more susceptible to pitting than any other brand. Falk reserves the right to repair or replace any defective product. Do you ship outside of the United States?
No. We are a U.S. distributor of Falk products and do not ship outside of the United States. For orders in Canada, please see Falk’s Canadian distributor website.
Do you charge sales tax?
Currently we charge sales tax in Michigan and Florida. This policy is subject to change as required by law.

Care and Maintenance
Are your products dishwasher-safe?
No! Please do not ever place copper cookware in the dishwasher. Dishwashing detergent can be extremely abrasive and will often cause copper to tarnish and discolor.
What is the best way to clean your products?
We recommend Scotch Brite pads and Bon Ami to keep the finish on your copper pans clean. For occasional brightening Flitz Polish or similar product is recommended. If you don’t mind a little tarnish, you can always use normal liquid detergent and clean by hand. Also, a mixture of equal parts ketchup and salt does an amazing job cleaning the tarnish off of copper.
Will salt harm your products?
Extended exposure to salt will cause pitting in any stainless steel product. If you use salt in your cooking or pasta water, please rinse your cookware immediately after use. Also, to reduce risk of pitting, we recommend that you do not add salt to pasta water until the water comes to a full boil. Our warranty does not cover pitting due to extended salt exposure.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are hand-crafted in Falk Culinair’s workshop in Westpelaar Belgium.
What is the lining of your products made of?
All of our cookware is lined with high-quality 200 micron austenitic 18/8 stainless steel. Similar to the exterior of our cookware, the lining has a satin finish for easier maintenance. For more information on stainless steel grades, please click here.
What is “Falk Bimetal”?
The bimetal of Falk Culinair consists of heavy copper plate on which a 200 micron (0.2mm) fine layer of stainless steel is anchored using a pressure of 850 tons/cm². The resulting metallic “intercristalline” connection comes with an unlimited guarantee.
Can your products be used on induction ranges?
Not really. Our cookware does not contain the necessary iron content to work with induction cooking. Falk Culinair does manufacture an iron pad that can be used on induction ranges but we recognize that this solution is less than ideal as the iron plate will heat up and largely negates the benefits of induction cooking.
